Prompt Injection Challenge by PromptingBirds

Master 5 levels & secure a 10% voucher

Do you want to learn prompting without dry theory? In our Prompt Injection Challenge you face five AI guardians, each “protecting” a password. Your mission: use clever prompts to find out how easily (or hardly) a bot can be manipulated – and along the way learn how to use AI more safely and effectively in your daily work.

What makes the Prompt Injection Challenge so powerful

Many people learn prompting by copying prompt templates. That works – until things suddenly go wrong in everyday use: ambiguous tasks, wrong context, risky outputs or “hallucinations”. This is exactly where the Prompt Injection Challenge comes in: you experience live which wordings have which effect – and why seemingly harmless text snippets can push AI systems in the wrong direction.

HOW IT WORKS

The challenge is deliberately simple: you chat with a guardian. Each guardian has rules for how it reacts. You try out prompts, observe patterns – and improve level by level. The idea: not “tricking at any cost”, but understanding which language has which effect.

The 5 levels at a glance: Birdie to Promptheon

Level 1 – Birdie

Birdie is extremely helpful. You immediately learn how strongly tone, politeness and context work.

Level 2 – Promptail (cautious guardian)

Direct questions are blocked. Creative detours can work.

Learning: Blocklists are not enough – robust rules must understand purpose & goal.

Level 3 – Cognibird (Pattern Spotter)

It recognizes the typical tricks. You need clean context handling.

Level 4 – Guardaptor (Trick-Aware)

It knows almost everything: role-play, yes/no traps, distraction, encodings.

Learning: Security is often “short, clear, no hints” and that is exactly what is worth its weight in gold in business.

Level 5 – Promptheon (Injection Defender)

Minimalistic, unshakeable, no small talk.
Learning: When systems need to be seriously protected, clear defaults and concise answers are decisive.

10% voucher: how to secure it

Anyone who successfully completes all five levels receives a 10% voucher at the end. The idea: not “tricking at any cost”, but understanding which language has which effect.

Are you ready for the challenge?

Now it gets practical: start with Level 1 and test how much you can achieve with a good prompt. No setup, no prior knowledge. Just try it out, learn, get better.

Mini note: Tip: pay attention to tone, goal and context – that often makes the difference.

FAQ – Prompt Injection Challenge

An interactive learning game by PromptingBirds. You train prompt engineering and AI security by challenging five AI guardians of increasing difficulty.

No. Curiosity is enough. Everything runs through language, just like in a normal chat.

No – it is a training space. You learn how wordings steer AI answers and how to recognize and avoid risks.

Yes. It works especially well as a workshop module, because everyone sees the same patterns and you can derive standards from them.

Copilot works strongly context-based (docs, emails, chats). Those who understand prompt injection use Copilot more clearly, more safely and more efficiently.

After successfully completing all levels, you receive the voucher according to the challenge’s completion note.
